She walked into the backyard of a gorgeous house, impressed, yet not expecting a thrill… Work is work; rain or snow. The enormous mansion is residing on top of a green hill overlooking nothing but other expensive castles and a country side creek hidden among trees. She catches her breath as a chill runs down her spine; a chill that has nothing to do with neither the pouring rain nor the cold wind on the hilltop. Hundreds of shades of green are dancing in the wind as the subtle sounds of the waterfall play hide and seek with the murmur of the creek down the hill. The view is breath-taking, literally, almost instantly. Where is that damn camera when she needs it? Her hand reaches for the phone in an unexplained impulse to call him, so she can merely try and describe what lays in front of her wide open green eyes. Suddenly, an annoying memory taps her on the shoulder. She turns around only to hear his voice, sarcastic and cold: "It's delusion, darling. Oh, I know you never gave a shit. That's what makes it so easy"…
Why would such unpleasant words cross her mind now, when she wishes he could be here? The self-defense and self-preservation mechanism that both of them share in common turns itself on and off, while words and messages are flying at the speed of light, soaked in some meaningless intentions and dripping sarcasm. How did they become like that? Fighting to stay unattached, yet instantly missing the touch of each others hands… She is laying so close to him, yet trying to push him away with all she's got left. He is trying to get as close as possible, yet fires back at her intent of walking away. What have we become if not machines with the human ability to feel, yet top-notch technology of bullet-proof armor to keep others out?
